Marie's Back in the Water

As the warmer weather arrives the horses begin shedding their winter coats, we help by brushing them each day. Poor Insy happened to be sitting in just the wrong place as we groomed Luna and has ended up with most of Luna's coat on her! She didn't care though, nothing was going to interrupt her beauty sleep!

Back to work in the woods and this month we have been clearing a path along the boarder of the property so a new fence can be put up, its a bit of a nightmare as everything is so over grown. This is the beginning of the line today and what we have to cut through
and this is behind us to show the contrast of what we cut down yesterday
6am and we start the day with the sun low
11am and it is nice to see the progress we have made, look at that lovely clear path
The next morning at 6am
and the same spot after we have cleared it at 11am, lets just hope that the whole place doesn't begin to over grown before they get a chance to put the new fence up.
Its always nice to stop for a spot of lunch with friends over at Pierre's, its a very different sight to when we were here last, the lake was frozen with fishing huts on it and we were off skiing!
Afternoons see us down at the marina working on Marie, getting her ready to go back into the water for when the Marina opens on 15th May
Stuart has given her a good polish and anti-fouled the bottom, she has never looked so clean!
The nasty Marie sign that was panted on the back has been removed so we can put a nice new name on her.
Time to go back in the water
The flowers are out and Marie is back in the water.
Just a few more essential, like the dingy, to go back down to the boat and we are nearly ready to leave
