And they say girls talk a lot!! You can't get a word in edgeways when these two get going!

Louise and I whale spotting, they are tricky little monkeys as soon as you get your camera out they disappear, my dad can agree that dolphins are the same!

"Look there's one"

Stuart has given up and settled down with a beer, "Oh no, then who's driving the boat?? "

It's ok, captain Lucien is on the case

Louise has given up with the whale spotting too and has gone back to her crosswords!

Here are some Béluga whales, small white whales

Another Béluga

The steep sides of the Fjord, with the Bélugas feeding at the base

Anchoring off of Ile St Louis, next to the Italian boat that we have seen previously in Cap a L'Aigle and also in Tadoussac. Little did we know that's this would be the first of many meetings and every where we anchored we found that they had got there before us!! That must have thought we were stalking them!

Stuart sorting out the anchor

A spot of fishing at dusk

A trip over to the island to try and find some bait for fishing

Lucien scrambling across the rocks

Nothing found but one moldy mussel

L'Anse St Jean

The L'Anse St Jean Marina and restaurant quite tragically burnt down the night before we arrived and was still smoking when we came past. It was closed up when it happened so luckily no one was hurt

Marie anchored up off of the beach

Low tide

This is the bridge on the Canadian $1000 bill (We are more likely to see the bridge than the note!!)

Louise having a rest by the outdoor ovens at 'Louise's Pie Shop'
Baie Eternite

Yeah, got the sails up

What direction is the wind coming from Lucien? We have a bit of a speed freak here, looking out for every tiny bit of extra wind to give us some extra speed, especially when he saw the Italians behind us!

The girls finally get a chance to talk now the boys are engrossed with the wind and the sails!

The huge cliffs at the entrance to Baie Eternite

The boys having a quick dip

Brrrr, looks a little too cold for me

Over to the National Park

Lucien testing the water

Off for a walk up to the Statue of Mary at the top of the hill. Its pouring with rain, but we won't let that hold us back!

Looking down over the bay

That little white speck is Marie on the mooring

A very misty cloudy day

Louise making use of the swings at the rest point

A very nice cabin is provided near the top for you to shelter from the weather or to rest your weary feet

They even provide a wood burning stove incase you need warming up

Yey, we made it to the statue

On the way back and the tide is up

Mind you don't fall in Lucien!!

Back on the boat and everyone is worn out!
Baie Des Ha! Ha!

Trying out a bit of knitting

Off to Baie Ha! Ha! This is the pyramid that was erected in memory to the big flood in 1996 which washed the whole town away

"Oi you two, stop snogging in the park!!"

Inside the Pyramid, all made from the local aluminum

The big sailing ship anchored in the bay

The Italians following up behind us for a change. Not that its a race but we must get to the anchorage before them!!! (If not just to prove that we are not following them where ever they go!)

Its all turned quite serious!

Cap De La Boule

Tying up in Cap De La Boule on iron rings in the rocks that were originally put there to tie up barges from the wood industry

Trying a spot of fishing again. The moldy mussel didn't work, even the bag of moss and worms that hitched a ride with us from Cap Eternite don't seem to be able to attract them. I don't think there are any, but we will persevere! (We have to get rid of those bloody worms somehow!)

The boys scrambling up the rocks to untie the line
