The 2 hour walk from the road to reach the beach

Hurrah the beach at long last!

We pretty much had this as our own private beach for the time that we were here

Stu chilling out in the hammock we set up on the beach

Stu being the hunter gatherer and sorting us out with a lunch of coconuts opened on a wooden spike

Other beaches warned you not to swim in them as they have very strong undercurrents and were very dangerous. Only 2 days before we arrived a girl drowned here whilst on holiday

This is our accommodation for the time we are here

Set up for our first night in the hammocks

Stuart had no trouble sleeping!

One of the local residence, a red squirrel

Some more of the local residence, the geese

Back to the beach for the second day

No they aren't pebbles

Unless Stuart has shrunk!

Lots of crazy blue crabs all over the place, we decided we wouldn't starve if we were stranded here for a long time!

We could always eat the big toads too!

(or just eat in the restaurant!)

What is this monster in my hammock!!

Its ok its only Stuart in his mozzie prevention outfit!

The geese taking an early morning stroll through our living space. It was the horse sniffing in my hammock first thing in the morning that gave me my alarm call through!

Off for the 2 hour walk through the jungle back to the main road

A quick stop at a deserted camp site for lunch
